Q: How do I scan a document? A: Open the app, point your camera at the document, and the app will auto-detect the edges. Tap the capture button (or wait for auto-capture) to scan. You can then crop, rotate, or enhance the image before saving.
Q: How do I save my scan as a PDF? A: After scanning, tap the Save / Export button and choose PDF as the format. You can save it to your device, share via email or messaging apps, or send to other apps.
Q: Can I scan multi-page documents? A: Yes. Simply continue scanning more pages — the app combines them into a single PDF.
Q: Where are my scans stored? A: Scans stay on your device. They are saved into the app’s library and can be exported to Files, Photos, or shared with other apps.
Q: Does the app work offline? A: Yes. Scanning, editing, and saving all work fully offline. Only the ad banner requires an internet connection.
Q: Can I remove the ads? A: Not currently. The app is free and supported entirely by lightweight ads.

Scanner — PDF Quick Scanner (“the App”) is developed by xudong li. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
The App scans documents on your device and saves them as PDFs. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your scans. We do not track you. We display non-personalized third-party ads through Google AdMob.
None. All document scanning, image processing, and PDF creation happen entirely on your device. Your scans never leave your phone unless you choose to share them.
We do not require an account. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, photos, or any personal identifiers.
The App does not track you. It does not link your activity to data from other apps or websites for advertising purposes. It does not share data with data brokers.
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC. The App is configured to request non-personalized ads only. For ad delivery, AdMob may collect:
These are used solely to deliver and measure ads, not to build a personalized advertising profile of you.
Google AdMob’s data practices are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
The App requests permission to use your camera so you can scan documents. Camera frames are processed locally on your device. The App does not record, upload, or share any camera data.
The App requests permission to save scanned PDFs to your Photos library or Files app. These are one-way “save only” permissions — the App cannot read or access your existing photos or files. Saved scans stay on your device and are never uploaded.
Apple may collect basic crash data on your device to help us improve app stability. This is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy and contains no personal information you have entered.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
